Whether you are a student or an office goer, almost everyone sometimes suffers from neck pain and stiffness.  Poor sleeping posture, prolonged sitting or sticking to your smartphone aggravate this problem.  However in the office, we have to work in one place.  Along with this, sitting continuously in one place and working by bending the neck also affects the health of the body. Constant neck pain and stiffness can become an obstacle in your daily life, so if you want to get rid of this pain in time, then know the remedy.

Neck pain can be either acute (short duration) or chronic (long lasting).  When you are struggling with a severe neck pain, doctors or trained medical professionals often recommend neck exercises to relieve the pain. Physiotherapy is often considered as one of the most successful methods of treating chronic neck pain.  This not only cures the pain but can also help improve the neck muscles. To recover muscles quickly, we are telling some simple physiotherapy exercises that you can do from the comfort of your home.

Bend your neck.

Slowly bend your neck to one side and stay in the same posture for 5-7 seconds.

Keep in mind that your jaw is at full height.

Gently turn your neck to the other side and stay in the same posture for 5-7 seconds.

Repeat the exercise 5 times.

Neck tilt.

It is one of the simplest exercises to relieve neck pain.  Just bend your neck down and touch your chin (chin) with the chest. Hold the pose for at least 5 seconds. Return to original position.

Repeat the exercise 5 times.

Side tilt.

Bend your neck sideways (towards your shoulders) and stay in the same position for 5 seconds. Keep your head up. Bend your neck to the other side and stay in the same position for 5 seconds.
