Ice relieves neck pain

Ice is the simplest remedy for neck pain.  Cold heating will help to relieve swelling and pain of the neck.

How to use ice

First put crushed ice on a towel.

Now wrap the towels.

Now apply this towel on your neck and do not keep it for more than 15 minutes.

Repeat this process every two or three hours for one day.

Note – Do not use ice directly on your skin.

Hydrotherapy is a solution to relieve neck pain

Hydrotherapy is another effective remedy for neck pain. It can be easily used while bathing. The rapid flow of water on your neck will help reduce pain and swelling.

How to use hydrotherapy 

Use hot water directly from the shower and keep its fast flow on your neck for three to four minutes.

After hot, now use cold water on your neck for 30 to 60 seconds in the same way.

You can do this as long as you want.

Warm water will increase your blood circulation and cold water will help to relieve inflammation.

Note – When you are under the shower, be careful not to move your neck around and keep it straight.

Use rock salt to treat neck pain

Rock salt relieves muscle tension, soreness and pain. The magnesium sulfate present in rock salt naturally relaxes the muscles thus reducing pain and swelling.

How to use rock salt 

Add one or two cups of rock salt to a tub of hot water.

Now sit in it for 15 to 20 minutes.  Keep in mind that the water must be used on the neck.

Do this process daily until you feel comfortable.

Apple vinegar is a remedy for neck pain

Apple vinegar has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help reduce pain or inflammation. Along with this, it also contains many nutrients which provide relief from pain.

Two ways to use apple vinegar 

First Way 

Put a handkerchief in apple vinegar and apply it on your neck after squeezing it tightly.

Leave it like this for a few hours.

Do this process twice daily throughout the day.

Second Way 

In addition, you can mix two cups of apple vinegar in the bath tub.

Now let it sit for 15 minutes.

Make sure that the mixture is used on your neck.

Do this process daily.

Exercise for neck pain

There are many types of exercises to relieve neck pain. Exercise will strengthen and stabilize the neck muscles. With this, the upper part of the waist will also be relaxed. Apart from this, it will also help to relieve stress. Two types of exercise will give you relief in pain and will also treat it.

How to exercise

Slowly rotate your neck. Start rotating your neck round and round like a watch. This will give you some pain in the beginning but it will open your muscles and will also help in treating it.

Apart from this, you can also slowly rotate the neck back and forth, right and left.

Try to do each session five times. Do three sessions daily. If you are very painful to do this exercise, then do not exercise and see your doctor as soon as possible.

Lavender oil is used to relieve neck pain.  It is highly effective during massage therapy.  Massaging will open your muscles and you will not have any problem in sleeping.

How to use lavender oil 

First of all take a bath with warm water so that your neck veins are relaxed.

Now rub some amount of lavender oil on your neck and shoulders.

Massage the affected area with a little pressure for 10 minutes.

Sheera is an Ayurvedic remedy for neck pain

If your neck pain is due to nutritional deficiency, especially from calcium and potassium deficiency then molasses is a very effective home remedy for this.  It contains high amount of calcium and potassium which is very beneficial for strengthening muscles, bones and joints.

How to use molasses 

Mix molasses in a glass of warm water.

Now drink this mixture.

To get relief from pain, use this mixture twice a day.

Remove turmeric from the neck with turmeric

You can also use turmeric to treat neck pain. Curcumin present in turmeric is a very important phytochemical that acts as an anti-inflammatory and relieves pain. In addition, turmeric improves blood circulation.

How to use Turmeric 

Mix one spoon of turmeric in a glass of milk.

Keep this mixture for boiling for five minutes.

Now remove it from the gas and mix honey in it and keep it to cool.

Use ginger on neck pain

Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory that improves circulation and blood flow to the affected areas. It helps reduce pain and inflammation.

Use ginger in three ways 

First Way 

Cut ginger into small pieces first.

Now put ginger pieces in two cups of water for 10 minutes and keep it to boil.

Now filter it, then add honey to it and drink this tea hot.

You can drink this tea for a few days to three cups throughout the day.

Red Chilli is a recipe to relieve neck pain

Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, which has analgesic as well as anti-inflammatory properties, which helps in relieving neck pain.

How to use red chili 

Mix one teaspoon red chilli and two teaspoons olive oil together.

Now apply this mixture on your affected areas.

Until the pain is gone, use this simple home remedy twice a day.

You can also use capsaicin gel to relieve neck pain.

Keep using this cream for a few days.

Other ways to avoid neck pain

Lie down without using a pillow to relax your neck muscles.
